The ELECTRON™ FSS gasket kit was developed to meet critical applications through rigorous pressure and chemical resistance requirements. The ELECTRON™ FSS gasket is manufactured using a metal core of 316 stainless steel, and is faced on both sides with laminated Filled PTFE and also with Termica™. Its more robust construction enables it to simultaneously meet the sealability, electrical isolation, and fire resistance requirements in industrial pipelines, even for flanges under high pressure. The ELECTRON™ gasket in this kit is recommended for pipes that need electrical isolation in lines for water (potable, sea, residual, and produced), gases, chemicals, hydrocarbons in general, as well as applications requiring fire resistance. ELECTRON™ FSS is certified to API 6FB fire test standard.
