2070 wird aus dem von TEADIT hergestellten EGK®-Garn diagonal geflochten. EGK® besteht aus einem Kernfaden aus Aramid in einer Hülle aus PTFE/Grafit (gPTFE), mit Silikonöl behandelt. Das einmalige, weltweit patentierte EGK® Garn verleiht dieser außergewöhnlichen Packung außergewöhnliche Eigenschaften: extrem hohe mechanische Belastbarkeit durch den Aramidkern, chemische Beständigkeit, einen niedrigen Reibungskoeffizienten und exzellente Wärmeleitfähigkeit durch die Hülle aus PTFE/Grafit.Chloridgehalt < 20ppm
Die TEADIT Type 2070 ist ideal für Einsätze bei denen gute chemische Beständigkeit, bei hoher mechanischer Belastung, zB hohem Druck, gefordert sind. Sie kann in allen Arten von Pumpen, Ventilen, Rührwerken etc. in allen Industriebereichen eingesetzt werden. Besonders geeignet für die hohen Anforderungen der Papierindustrie. Ideal für fast alle Anwendungen, insbesondere für aggressive Medien oder Medien mit Feststoffanteilen. Aber auch für Wasser, Abwasser, Lösungsmittel, Öle und Fette, Bitumen, Klärschlamm, Maische, Weiß- und Schwarzlauge uvm.
Nicht geeignet für: Geschmolzene Alkalimetalle und Fluorverbindungen bei hohen Temperaturen und Drücken, Sauerstoff.
Die Packungtype 2070 kann sehr universell verwendet werden und daher das Packungslager eines Betriebes stark reduzieren. Vereint die Festigkeit von Aramid (jedoch ohne seine Nachteile, wie beschränkte chemische Beständigkeit und starker Wellenabrieb) mit der Geschmeidigkeit, chemischen Beständigkeit, niedrigem Reibungskoeffizienten und der Wärmeleitfähigkeit von gPTFE.
