Diagonally braided from gPTFE-yarn (PTFE with incorporated graphite), reinforced at the corners with continuous Aramid yarn, lubricated with silicone oil.
Properties
Style 2017 is a high performance multi-yarn packing, which combines the advantages of the supple gPTFE material with those of tough and durable Aramid. This results in reduced shaftwear and better thermal conductivity than standard Aramid packings.
