VALVE WORLD AMERICAS, 2015
Teadit recently participated in the Valve World Americas Expo & Conference on July 15th-16th held in Houston, TX. The biennial show and expo gave the more than 2,100 attendees an overview of the latest technologies, components and systems in the field of industrial flow control as well as bringing manufacturers and distributors together with valve users. Daniel Angulo, Teadit North America Applications Engineer, said, “Valve World focuses on the most lucrative valve markets in North, South and Central America. We were able to witness the latest trends, newest technology developments and news from the flow-control industries; all focusing on topics over oil and gas, refining power generation, the chemical process industries, emission control, actuation and control valves.”
This show was not only a great opportunity for Teadit to network with existing and potential customers within the industry, but a learning experience as well. The over 200 exhibitors, ranging from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Asia, Europe and India, brought over 1,200 staff members working in their booths and/or attending the workshops and panel sessions, including members of Teadit, on topics such as fugitive emissions, valve selection and cryogenic service considerations.

The show was very successful for Teadit, so much so that Teadit North America Vice President, Steve Kura explains that, “This show was very important for us and that is why we at Teadit are planning to be even more involved in the future by participating in the Fugitive Emissions and Pumps Steering Committees.”
This means at Pump Summit Americas in June of 2016, an affiliate show of Valve World, Teadit will not only be exhibiting, but sponsoring the show as well. As for Valve World 2017 Teadit and James Walker will be partnering up for the trade show exhibiting a much larger presence.
Pump Summit Americas will be held in June of 2016 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
