ACHEMA 2015
Recently Teadit Europe attended the Achema Worldwide Trade Show, the leading international trade fair for the chemical industry. This show is held every three years in Frankfurt, Germany and sets the standards in the plant construction, food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
The show gathers vendors and visitors on a global scale. This year 3,813 companies were exhibited and 166,000 visitors attended. Teadit North American Vice President, Steve Kura commented, “As a global company it was important for Teadit to have representation from North America. I was able to meet with key business partners as well as identify new business opportunities.”
The world’s leading sealing manufacturers were featured in hall eight. Teadit acquired a prime spot for our two story booth that included a bar and lounge area downstairs and, for a more quiet atmosphere, a meeting room upstairs.
Teadit Europe took this trade show as an opportunity to introduce our new European branding technologies with digital printing and the embossed labelling of the ePTFE sheets. We also focused on our PTFE products for the pharmaceutical and food industry as well as our low emission products.
Visitors were very impressed by our North American Director of Engineering and Technical Services, Joel Baulch, who was running continuous, flange installation training inside our booth. This attracted many visitors’ attention as they walked by and most even stopped in to learn about the process.
At the conclusion of Achema, Teadit Europe had been visited by hundreds of visitors that came from over 50 different countries, including Germany, Italy, China and India. Not only were we happy with the amount of visitors who stopped by our booth, but how many visits were also from end users. This proved to us that our global specification activities are headed in the right direction.
Teadit’s Managing Director of Europe and Asia Pacific, Jose Antunes said, “It was a great show for Teadit. The increasing quantity and quality of visitors at our booth, especially partners and end users, reflects our growing reputation in the market for the last few years. Sales, service and technical support have been a great focus for us and therefore Achema was a great chance to receive feedback from our business partners, as well as establish contact with new ones. With this event being the largest in the chemical sector, it was also a great opportunity to get acquainted with the latest trends in the industry and participate in technical discussions and presentations.”
The next Achema Trade Fair will be held again in 2018 and we are looking forward to attending for another successful show!
